EU VAT Number for WooCommerce it allows companies and professionals from the European Union that are registered with the VIES as intra-community operators to buy in your online store without having to pay VAT on the order.

EU VAT Number for WooCommerce adds a field for the VAT number at checkout that is validated against the VIES registration in real time and, if the number is registered, removes VAT from the order.

Features of EU VAT Number for WooCommerce

In WooCommerce > Settings > Tax you will be able to set:

• Label for the checkout VAT field.
• Description for the checkout VAT field.
• Whether to eliminate VAT for professionals and companies in the store’s base country.
• What to do if the data entered is not a valid VAT number registered as an intra-community operator:
  • Reject the order and display an error message.
  • Accept the order but do not eliminate VAT.
  • Accept the order and remove VAT as well.
• Make the field mandatory (useful for purely B2B businesses).
